Long blooming period. Use in the front of borders, in containers or as a beautiful cut flower for indoor flower displays. Attracts butterflies.
Plant out in spring in well-drained soil. Stems may need some support in more exposed garden locations. Water when the weather is dry. Provide a light dose of fertilizer in spring and midsummer.
Cut the stems down to ground level in late autumn. Treat as a tender perennial by lifting roots in the winter and storing them at between 45f/7c.
